Attention all lap swimmers at South Yuba Club: Starting September 1, 2025, swim caps will be required for anyone using lap lanes 2–4. This change is part of our ongoing effort to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and quality of our aquatic facilities.
FREE Swim Cap Giveaway – First 50 Members Only!
To help you get started, we're giving away free swim caps to the first 50 members who ask. We are only offering one cap per person. Stop by the front desk to claim yours before they’re gone!
Why the New Policy?
Here’s why we’re making swim caps a must for lap swimmers:
- Improved Water Quality & Reduced Maintenance
Swim caps help contain loose hair that can otherwise clog filters and drains, reducing maintenance needs and keeping the pool environment pristine. - Enhanced Swimming Efficiency
Caps offer a smoother, more streamlined swim—minimizing drag and improving your lap times and performance. - Hygiene & Courtesy
Wearing a cap is a courteous way to help maintain hygiene levels, contributing to a better experience for fellow swimmers.
What You Need to Know
- Who This Affects: Anyone swimming in lap lanes 2–4.
- When It Starts: September 1, 2025.
- What If You Forget?: We’ll have caps available for purchase at the front desk if you don’t have one.
