Tracy Lease

Tracy Lease, yoga therapist, yoga teacher, Pilates teacher, and yoga teacher trainer owns and directs Full Life Yoga Studio and teaches Mindful Pilates and Alignment-Based Yoga Flow at the South Yuba Club. Tracy also leads anatomy workshops and yoga trainings at the club.
Tracy empowers each unique student to move toward optimal health and happiness. Tracy has spent 20+ years joyfully guiding students, ages 4 to 96, in movement and mindfulness practices in classrooms, studios, clubs, domestic violence shelters, and jails. Tracy also guides local and international retreats.
Tracy’s greatest teacher is her own body. At 16, due to extreme pain, she discovered structural scoliosis. Experience with her spine helps Tracy have empathy with students and their body challenges. She has spent years integrating study of the body — so whether she teaches about feet, yoga postures, the nervous system, or the breath, Tracy gives people fun, useful ways to incorporate what has been learned into daily life. Meld body and breath into the present-moment, aligning the body for optimal energy flow through all categories of yoga poses. Balance postural understanding, strength, flexibility and develop mindful-heartful awareness you can take into life beyond class.

Mindful Pilates
Mindful Pilates invites you to slow down and get to know your myofascial matrix from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet during Pilates movements by focusing on enhancing core strength around the entire circumference and along the whole length of your spine. In this class you will increase stability and flexibility, become aware of myofascial slings across your body, find balance and ease of movement and develop mental clarity and mind-body connection. We will use therabands, hand weights, balls, blocks and other tools to wake up and move!
