Glenda’s passion for fitness began nearly 40 years ago when she took her first “aerobics” class as a New Year’s resolution. It’s the only resolution that I have kept, and she’s still going strong after almost 40 years. Glenda was recruited to teach shortly after her first class, but, due to life changes, she didn’t actually start until a few years later. Her first class format was Step which she taught for nearly 30 years. She has also taught six different MOSSA programs, Yoga, Pilates, Core, Strength, Cycling, a number of Zumba formats, Aqua Fitness, SilverSneakers and a variety of other formats teaching as many as 15 regularly scheduled weekly classes for many years. "Take care of your body, it's the only place you have to live in" has become a very important philosophy in her life, and one she hopes to instill in others. Glenda has been managing Group Fitness departments for over 15 years. After all of these years, Glenda still loves teaching and managing. How many people can say they love going to “work” after 40 years?
Outside of the gym, I love spending time with my dogs. I own many Brittanys and a Boston Terrier. I enjoy competing with them in the show ring and the field.
Glenda has a wonderful son and daughter and is the proud grandmother of fraternal twin girls and 2 grandsons.
