Fitness Training Expertise
Dan earned his BA degree in Sports Medicine from CSU, Chico and subsequently received a professional certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), which is recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) as an allied health care profession. Dan’s specialization is in the health care of the physically active (not limited to athletes), including injury prevention, injury evaluation/assessment, injury rehabilitation, nutrition, strength and conditioning, athletic training (biomechanics/skill enhancement) fitness education, and fitness/training myths.

Concurrent with his degree in Sports Medicine, Dan earned a Secondary Education teaching credential to be a sports medicine instructor. He has been in the fitness and education professions for over 10 years.
